Empire Steam
Oil-Fired Steam Boiler
Designed For Steam Systems
The Dunkirk Empire Boiler is the ideal choice for
steam systems. The 6" steam chest provides ample room in the
heat exchanger to effectively convert water to steam. The large
2 1/2" supply tappings contribute to quieter operation and
a plentiful supply of steam. Converted water boilers for steam applications,
offered by most other manufacturers, sacrifice the ability to produce
high quality and quantities of dry steam which results in poor water
to steam production and increased noise levels.
Tankless Water Heater (optional)
A special 5 gallon per minute heating coil produces hot water for
domestic needs (Boiler input determines tankless heater output).
Cast Iron Sections & Push Nipples
Dunkirk utilizes cast iron to construct the boiler’s heat
exchanger to provide heat transfer, reliability and strength. Since
like materials expand and contract in the same proportion during
heating and cooling, cast iron push nipples and sections produce
stronger, more watertight seals than steel push nipples or rubber
gaskets.
Quality Burner Options
The Empire Steam offers a choice of three manufacturer approved
quality oil burners...Beckett (standard), Carlin or Riello.
Safe Operation
The Empire Steam is equipped with the latest safety and operational
control devices to provide you peace of mind and maintenance free
operation. From the low water cut-off control, that protects the
heat exchanger, to the pressuretrol, which is the main operational
control, safe reliable operation is built in to your Empire Steam
boiler.
Easy Installation
The heat exchanger of the Empire Steam is factory assembled to ensure
quality. The controls, burner and insulated jacket are boxed separately
to protect them from damage. Your installer quickly adds these parts
to the boiler for a finished product that operates to specifications.
